The Producer-Editor is responsible for servicing the video needs of Fremantle's Global Marketing Department through the creation of video and motion graphics materials produced in house, as well as providing creative input into externally produced materials as required.

The position follows the remit of the Global Marketing Department in servicing all areas of Fremantle's business across production, formats, distribution, digital,social and commercial. Projects cover a mix of B2B launch campaigns and activities for our content, and some consumer facing materials including social media content, and corporate projects. The role works across all of Fremantle's genres and markets, including scripted,non-scripted, branded entertainment and formats.

Specific Responsibilities:
Developing creative treatments for, and production of, short form video materials for use in marketing and social media:
o Creating treatments, writing scripts, creating mood boards and mood reels, reviewing and logging materials, editing clip segments together, selecting and sourcing music, sourcing graphics and effects,and producing suitably formatted output files.
Producing voiceovers, specialist motion graphics work, editing and camera work as required.
Pre-production advice for shoots and post production to provide the most effective solutions and workflow for creative projects.
Attending and providing direction on video shoots.
Creating motion graphics using appropriate software (eg. After Effects and Cinema 4D).
Working directly with clients and stakeholders and collaborating closely with the rest of the Creative Team on the video elements of cross-media campaigns.
Managing the preparation and supply of materials for broadcaster support on Fremantle titles such as host and talent presentations to camera, promos, and other marketing materials.
Liaising with the Senior Technical Marketing Manager,internal libraries and third party content suppliers to source, store and supply material.

Main Job Requirements:

Education and training: editing and/or video production qualification

Specific experience required: experience in in-house or agency/production company editing environment.Experience of digital video formats, management and production.
Demonstrable experience of producing and editing short- and medium-form materials such as trailers, promos and behind-the-scenes materials.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement creative ideas.
Deep experience of a desktop video editing software: Adobe Premiere (preferred), Final Cut Pro or AVID
A track record of collaborating with marketing and other departments.
Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
Must be passionate about media, digital and social platforms and broadcasting.
Comfortable working with Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics assets and post production effects to a high standard of finish.
Familiarity with creative development and filming techniques,audio production, grading and motion graphics.
Must demonstrate initiative and work flexibly and independently.
Follow emerging trends and culture and keep in touch with the wider creative community.

Desirable: Cinema 4D or other 3D animation software,Photoshop, Audio mixing software, video camera operation, video direction experience.
