Plimsoll is looking for an experienced PRODUCER to start in January 2022 for a month's pre-planning on a new host-led science and adventure documentary series for a major US SVOD.

Initial contract from 24 January 2022 to 16 February 2022 based in our Bristol office, and then ideally to join the series when it goes into production - potentially rolling straight on.

This large-scale production will be challenging and technically innovative with high production values. You will need to pull together multiple story lines, build and maintain your team and relationships with scientists and institutions, write treatments, scripts and running orders. You will need to have experience of running multiple complex foreign shoots, the latest camera technology, editing, a passion for storytelling and script writing and a strong creative vision.

Ideal candidates will have experience of science and conservation storytelling and working with on screen contributors, and you will have worked for US cable or network channels, working with graphics and archive and managing a team of researchers. Strong edit-producing skills are also required.
