We are seeking an Online Producer/Director to join the team in a freelance and remote capacity.As an Online Producer / Director you'll take your project from concept through to completion. Covering all aspects from development; concepts and instructional design, through to script-writing, directing & editing the final pieces. You'll also work with our team of talented animators to add a layer of 2d animation to your films.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years industry experience, along with a savvy knowledge of online video creation, is essential. A passion & experience in either history and/or children's education is a must.We'd particularly like to hear from candidates experienced in producing for animation and in an educational space. You'll have an amazing portfolio of work and a well-honed understanding of what it takes to make short form content engaging, memorable and impactful. Remote working required. Key Responsibilities:Manage the production workflow from concept to delivery on assigned projects with all key stakeholders - ext. and int.Translate, manage, and reflect partner brands correctlyFollow and utilise standardised Makematic task management documents and platforms throughout all productionsDevelop creative treatments and owning the creative vision for every projectHave much experience in hiring talent such as actors and voice over artistDirect and manage on set live action filming, along with self recordings supplied by contributorsFamiliar with licensing and copyright protocolsEdit and export play-outs when required Schedule alongside the Project Manager, Researchers, Animators, Script Writers, EditorsProvide guidance and input with script writingLiaise directly with partners in multiple time zonesEnsure content is fully compliant with copyright, 3rd party agreements, Risk Assessments and Health & Safety lawEnsure production post-paperwork and metadata is accurate and delivered on time Ensure all project, and media files are backed up to internal storage (NAS)Be able to travel internationally Essential:A passion for education and professional developmentExcellent communication and client-facing skillsImpeccable attention to detail Industry referencesExperience working with animators and motion graphics artistsExceptional showreel
