Premier Pro Offline Editor - Diagonal View
Soho, Central London
Up to 6 month contract

We are looking for a Premiere Pro Editor with motion graphics experience to join the team at Diagonal View for a 6 month contract.

You'll be an experienced an editor who's made plenty of factual shows, is experienced at cutting to time and working with a variety of source material. You can think creatively and can do so whilst working to a tight deadline, keeping a close eye on compliance issues (both technical and editorial).

Your key responsibilities

• Delivering a high volume of content to a demanding client, with a very quick turnaround
• As part of a team of editors, producers and researchers, you'll need to think on your feet and make a real creative input into the programmes you cut.
• Work with your team on cutting material to time.
• Work with the boradcast compliance teams to ensure we're delivering programmes to our online editors that pass the tests first time round.

Your skills
• Experienced Premier editor
• Although you'll be an offline editor, you'll be able to eliminate (experience onlinning is a bonus)
• Ability to manage your time effectively and keep to deadlines is essential.
• Able to contribute creatively to the team you'll be working with.
• Experience within, and a clear understanding of, TV production.
• Familiarity with industry codecs and compression software.
• Ability to steer a project creativity.
• Proficiency in Mac-based systems.
• Exposure to a quick turnaround environment would also be ideal

About us
Diagonal View is a specialist at building huge, engaged communities around digital content (both our own and brands channels). We are a digital production studio in Central London, creating over 500 videos per month for our 12+ channels (recently acquired by Sky). Our Channel Management division helps to grow the digital audiences for over 30 clients. We have access to a network of talent and advise brands on how best to use influencers by marrying them the right talent for their objectives, budgets and audience. We're now branching out into broadcast production with a significant commission already secured and plans to produce over 50 hours of linear TV in the next year.
