PROJECT/POST-PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR REAL VISION

Real Vision is a financial media company, offering the first ever video-on-demand platform for finance via a subscription model. It has been called 'The Netflix of Finance'. Our content provides access to some of the smartest people in the world of finance, who share their investment insights with our viewers. As well as in-depth interviews, we also cover the big stories of the moment and produce documentaries and trade ideas.short form pieces of content.

We are looking for a highly experienced project/post-production manager with an in-depth knowledge and experience in managing teams making video and editorial content in a high volume output business.

The ideal candidate will have an intimate knowledge of production and post production processes across editing platforms, FCPX Adobe After Effects, C4D and other graphics packages, design and copy. You will instinctively understand what is required resource wise across any number of jobs, from simple interviews, quick turnaround content to much more elaborate, long form productions. You will be able to "plug"apply that knowledge into accurate estimations of what resource isresources are required across different skillsets and book this resource in, manage it and ensure all the elements are delivered on time and to deadline.

You will be a great people person, able to work with teams to enable delivery. You will be confident, forthright and effective in knowing when to push and chase people to ensure they deliver but also understand the balance and fine line in also working with people to get the best out of them so the deadlines are realistic and achievable without compromising on qualityhow to work with people to ensure that the deadlines are realistic and achievable without compromising quality. To this end, you will be adept at getting to know the particular strengths of the individuals across the team to schedule the right work with the right person.

You will have an excellent eye for detail, be a natural multi-tasker and a good team player and have a relentless passion and solid work ethic. This will be coupled with an entrepreneural spirit and a desire to succeed and develop in a hugely exciting and fast growing media organization of 45 people here on the Cayman Islands.

Core Role

- Managing the scheduling of the post production team - Editors and AF, C4D Animationand Animatorsion team (5 people)
- Managing the scheduling and delivery of work with the editorial team for video copy
- Working with production to manage incoming footage to ensure it is ready for editing
- Briefing editors, sound design, graphics and animators accurately to schedule work accordingly
- Working with the editorial team to manage delivery of the numerous text-based assets which are used in our videos
- Working with the marketing team to generate campaign copy and marketing materials from our video productions.
- Working with the marketing team to schedule creation of marketing assets
- In addition to the internal team, engaging, briefing and working with freelancers to manage outsourcing of overspill work

Skill Set

- A natural multi-tasker with at least 5 years project management experience in a post producton environment
- Be organized, analytical and an exceptional eye for detail
- A problem solver and positive solution focused outlook
- GBe goal-orientated and self-motivated
- An in-depth knowledge of delivering work in a digital start-up business and a genuine desire to work in this environment.

Applicant Requirements:

- At least 5 years experience in a project and post management role (TV or Digital)
- Good command of English, both oral and written
