Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon's Prime Video and Freevee customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.

Amazon Studios is looking for a Post Production Lead to manage the growing team supporting movies produced across Europe, from our London office. The team's responsibilities include maintaining post schedules, following up on outstanding deliverables, and organizing assets for delivery to Prime Video. Our in-country post teams coordinate with third-party vendors on work related to the editing, finishing, and versioning of assets, ensuring the highest quality standards, tracking expenditures for all post-production department related work orders, and distributing assets for Public Relations, Marketing, and International Localization needs. This role, and their team, will work directly with our Content Licensing and Development supporting teams in London, Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Milan, Madrid, and Los Angeles and will be the main liaison for all European movie titles to the Operations teams in London, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

This role will also be responsible for evaluating new post-related technologies and products, providing thoughtful advice to leadership on potential risks and issues in a wide range of areas, including potential vendors, workflow solutions, and new technologies.

Key job responsibilities
• Hire, train, supervise and set career growth plans for post production executives and coordinators on their team
• Represent team interests with senior leadership and manage escalations
• Oversee on-time delivery and on-budget execution for all scripted series projects in development, production, and post production
• Oversee post-production budgets, bids, and schedules
• Make recommendations and vet series staff and vendors
• Review bids for post production services
• Liaise with Scripted Post Production teams around the world
• Coordinate with production and development departments to assess scope and challenges of projects
• Collaborate closely with internal Localization, Mastering, Delivery and Technology teams in preparing scripted series global release
• Engage with Marketing, Public Relations, and Prime Video team members to deliver assets
• Evaluate technical workflows
• Travel as required in support of show planning and execution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Team people manager with a strong leadership and ability to hire and train
• Extensive experience as Senior Post Producer/Senior Post Executive or the equivalent
• Multiple years of experience in budgeting, scheduling and technical workflows
• Experience managing relationships with sound, editorial and finishing post facilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in various television and film post production environments
• Experience with scheduling post vendors and creating delivery schedules from the beginning to end of production cycles
• Experience with delivery of assets to studios
• Experience with variety of digital media workflows
• Knowledge of wide array of media asset types
• Experience with international subtitling and dubbing workflows
• Ability to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
• Organized and with great attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
