Post Production Coordinator

Summary: Provide post production coordination and bookings support to the Client Services department.
The role is client-facing and is the first point of contact for booking in new jobs and projects.
Duties:
* Assisting the Head of Client Services on all post production coordination across Virtual Posts facility sites.
* Booking and coordinating edit & audio sessions, both internally and with external post production facility partners, according to client's needs.
* Hosting front of house, welcoming clients and freelancers, fielding incoming phone calls.
* Scheduling work within the facilities scheduling system.
* Preparing completed jobs and projects for costing with notes from the operations teams.
* Discussing job priorities daily with operations teams.
* Coordinating freelance editors and audio engineers, placing correct staff to jobs and projects, issuing job sheets and ensuring these are completed on the day.
* Ensuring clients are serviced to the highest professional standard.
* Quoting and scheduling content servicing jobs, including QCs, digital file reversioning, frame rate conversion & electronic delivery.
* Any other relevant tasks at the request of the management team.
Person Specification:
* Previous experience of working in a post production bookings department
* Good understanding of the media production, post production and delivery supply chain
* Experience in using post production scheduling software (Ceta/Farmers Wife/Xytech etc)
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Pleasant telephone manner
* Ability to draft straightforward correspondence
* Competent computer skills with PC (Win 10)
* Competent Google G-Suite and MS Office experience.
* Good organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Commitment and flexibility to cover colleagues during annual leave/sickness
* Good team player.
* Good understanding of broadcasters tech specs for digital delivery - including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five and Sky.
