Post Production Assistant

As a Post Production Assistant, you will act as a key team member within our Post team, working with our multi-skilled staff on some of our major productions. In working with the Post Production Supervisor, you will gain invaluable experience in the high-quality Post Production process we complete every day in our studios whilst contributing your significant communication, organisation, and operational skills to the business.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring Post Production processes and workflows are followed
• Liaise with editors and Post Coordinators on task progress
• Track audio files and log changes /retake comments from the audio department
• Co-ordinate tracking and logging HD footage from overseas studios
• Co-ordinate retakes with the overseas studio, in-house, and directors
• Manage the online tracker, online handovers, and online in progress
• Attend edit sessions and co-ordinate notes
• Liaise with other internal departments to get footage and files
• Report to Post Supervisor on progress and issues
• Liaise with directors, following up on notes to ensure deliveries are met
• Co-ordinate final deliveries from the overseas studio - all files and footage for projects
• Animatics, Offline, Premix Stage - Calls/Notes/Follow up
• Filling in paperwork for deliveries
• Downloading and logging footage and audio files
• Checking files to be sent to clients
Requirements:
• Previous post-production experience is an advantage
• Experienced in database work and maintaining tracking documents
• Good understanding of schedules and deadlines
• Clear and fast communicator of production information
• Comfortable in working to tight deadlines
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (required)
• Strong knowledge of FTP software (required)
• Good Knowledge of Photoshop and Acrobat
Must be able to work remotely.
Must have a right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
During COVID-19 restrictions, the successful candidate will first start remotely, and then, once restrictions are removed will be required to be in our Dublin office on a full-time basis.
