Post Assistant / Project Coordinator

Twig World is a multi-award winning digital media company, with an end-to-end production studio based in Glasgow. We specialise in creating short factual films and digital resources for the global education market. Since launching in 2011, our content is now used in over 60 countries and in 20 different languages. The tempo at Twig is fast-paced and involves producing a range of digital projects for both UK and international markets.

The Role

The role of Post Assistant/Project Coordinator is made up of two things: working on new films that come through from our Production team; and International Reversioning, where we turn our original UK English films into different languages. This role will work closely with the Post Production Manager to help coordinate the day to day running of the various projects coming through the department, and ensure that everything is finished on time and to our high standards.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent organisation and communication skills, have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines. They will also have experience of working in a Post Production environment, with a working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Apple Motion and After Effects. Please note that having another language is not necessary for this role.

Responsibilities include:
Simple and complex graphics editing
Making simple edits and shot replacements
Asset management
Output and quality control
Delivering projects on time
Other Post Production tasks as and when required

Key skills:
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience of Apple Motion and After Effects
Have an excellent eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisation skills
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Experience:
A minimum of 18 months in a similar role
