Al Jazeera English is looking for a Freelance Picture Editor to work in their London Broadcast Centre.

You should be a fully conversant Non - Linear Editor having worked on a range of programmes and styles. Specifically you must have extensive experience editing News packages using Avid Media Composer. As Al Jazeera English has fast turnaround content you will be experienced in finishing packages to tight deadlines and to a high standard.

Solid experience in a similar role is essential and you must be available to work over the Christmas & New Year period. An interest in news and current affairs, a willingness to learn proprietary equipment and applications, and strong written and verbal communication skills are also desirable.
