A Place in the Sun is busier than ever and we are looking for 2 new PD's (Ideally with EU passports) to join the team travelling either 14th or 21st November for 4 weeks on the road in Southern Spain. 2 paid training days will be offered before travel.
The successful candidates will have experience of scripting, producing and directing 60 min formatted programmes, plus experience of working on property shows would be a bonus but not essential.
You will be directing a 2 person crew and shooting second camera on the opening and closing sequences, so you need to be confident in self-shooting and experienced in managing presenters and contributors.
We are happy to consider applications from experienced DV Directors/Producers who are keen to make the step up towards PD'ing.
The role is almost entirely location based, with just the first few days of production in the office in Chorleywood as paid training days - or these could be done remotely.
Filming will be a 4 week block on location so you need to be able to be away from the UK for 4 weeks at a time. In this period you would deliver 2 shows.
As we are currently filming in the EU you must have a valid passport and ideally an EU passport for ease of travel without visas.
As some entry requirements insist on travellers being double jabbed preference will be given to those who have been double jabbed at least 14 days before travelling.
