Plan filming in Tokyo during the Paralympics and liaise with the filming crews

Work with Channel 4, Whisper and the BPA to coordinate a media plan with Medal winning Paralympians following their achievements
Enhancing the editorial/creative vision of Whisper during the production period

Inspire, lead and oversee a small team, but also be hands on and able to switch between Senior management team demands and key stakeholders
To collaborate with our senior editorial content leaders and production teams to super-serve their needs, going the extra mile to make sure that we never fall short of Whisper's standards.
To promote equality and diversity in the team and on-screen and to adhere to Health and Safety policies.

Key responsibilities:

Work with the production team and OBS to help plan filming at mIxed zone and pres positions
Work with the production teams to plan filming positions and permits in Tokyo where applicable
A strong collaborator who can communicate well with production colleagues and the Senior Management team
Work with the senior production team to provide detailed schedules for the team including talent
Work closely with the teams to ensure accuracy and high quality pitch decks are produced

Required skills:

A high level of Paralympic knowledge
Ability to operate in a high pressured live broadcast or content production environment
Capability in handling varied workloads, prioritising and delivering to deadlines whilst reacting positively to changes and conflicts
Strong communication, collaboration, organisation and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain multiple projects in both an organisational and editorial sense and ability to lead a research team
A general knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, sports and TV production in general

The Details:

This role will require a degree of flexibility and weekend working. You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirements. Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week. Your main base will be Kew but we may require the main work to be based in Tokyo.
