Job: AV Technician
Peachy Productions Ltd is an Exciting Production company, which has continuing to expand. To keep up with our current workload and allow for further growth and expansion, we have a new position within our team.
The position:
We need an AV Technician who responsible for the day to day delivery, installation, operating and de-rigging of equipment in a variety of environments around the UK. This will include conference AV, Lighting and Audio.
On larger projects you will work as part of a team taking part in the onsite rigging, operating and de-rigging of all the associated AV equipment. This will also include managing any onsite suppliers.
The Candidate:
The candidate should be self-motivated, dedicated with a readiness to learn. They will be expected to be able to work under pressure, have a keen eye for detail with a good client-facing attitude. The candidate should also have the ability to work on his or her own but also within a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background, having worked as an audiovisual technician for at least one year. The job will suit someone who wants to develop his or her career rapidly in an expanding business.
Desired Skills:
Sound: D&B, Bose, Q series, D12 amps, Yamaha LS9, Soundcraft, Allen & Heath GL4, Sennheiser wireless mics.
Video: LCD projectors, plasma screens, Kramer, Analog Way video switching units, Final Cut Pro.
Lighting: Rigging Generic and intelligent lights - Mac 250s, LED bars, Pearl lighting desk, dimmers and power, truss rigging
IT: Good general IT skills, especially MS PowerPoint and Word
General: Well spoken, confident and well presented. Good time management Demonstrates good team skills.Good technical troubleshooting ability. Friendly and approachable manner

Working hours: Full-time

Office hours 08:00 - 17:30 with regular overtime
