On-Set Data Wrangler

London

CoSA VFX, Inc. has an opportunity for an experienced (1+ years) On-Set Data Wranglers for episodic television projects filming in the UK starting in mid-October. This role requires keen technical skills as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Record camera data of both planned & unplanned VFX shots, including reference photos, witness camera, color chart, camera details, place markers and capture HDRIs

Set up, operation and maintenance of all on-set VFX gear on a day to day basis

Uploading, logging, back up of all on-set data each day on-set

Back up and distribution of on-set VFX data, photographs and video to appropriate recipients, following in house protocols

Understanding and practical ability to draw lighting diagrams/ set-up diagrams, including measurements.

Be on-set and ready to operate at call time with appropriate VFX gear for the day, including personal weather protection.

Maintain VFX department inventory of all VFX departmental equipment and gear, including cameras, data, hard drives and expendables.



Requirements:

Demonstrated hands-on experience with DSLR cameras, laser range finder, inclinometer and HDRI photography

Self-motivated, extremely well organized, detail oriented without being overly compulsive

Previous experience in an episodic television or commercial facility a big plus!
