Chocolate Films is a growing film production company with an extremely active outreach programme. The Office Junior is an essential member of the team working across all elements of the workshop programmes and productions. This position will involve mainly office-based administrative work. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and fast learner with a positive attitude. You must relish problem-solving and be able to make cost-effective decisions for the benefit of the organisation. You must have a desire to work in the company's key sectors - art galleries and museums, the youth and education sector, charities and NGOs. Your work in the office, will include the following specific tasks:
Hospitality
Answering phones, meeting and greeting clients, making teas and coffees, washing up.
Administration
General maintenance of office to include:
Supporting project managers and filmmaking team at Chocolate Films' office; filing release forms; ordering stationery, kit, water etc; booking travel and accommodation for shoots and workshops; supporting with the writing of Call Sheets; researching (archive, blogs etc); Sending post/couriers/deliveries; Database entry; supporting with social media and YouTube presence
Kit Management
Organising, maintaining and packing filmmaking kit; organising repairs, service and maintenance of kit; booking kit on Current RMS software package; kit deliveries and collections
Post-production Support
Transferring footage to hard drives, clearing cards and charging batteries
Desired attributes include
Knowledge of our key software packages: Current RMS, Basecamp, Highrise, Google docs, FCPX, WeTransfer and Dropbox
A recent DBS check and a clean driving license.
Payment: Annual salary starting at £18,500

Regular working week Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, but weekend and evening work is common (time off in lieu given for evening and weekend work).
