News Producer

London

After 30 years in television, Lorraine continues to go from strength to strength from 8.30am to 9.25am every morning, Monday to Friday. The programme offers live, topical and glamorous content. It's inspiring and upbeat in everything from fashion to celebrity or human interest interviews just like its presenter!

We have a fantastic opportunity to join Lorraine as a News Producer.

In this role you will be dedicated to providing topical, quality content which sets the news agenda for the day. You will be bursting with ideas and possess the ability to secure exclusive stories ahead of our rivals.

You must have a strong journalistic background and be able to provide examples of exclusives you have secured in the past - be that for TV, print, radio or online.

As a News Producer you must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, be driven and resilient. You will be a first class communicator with the ability to build relationships with contacts to bring in original news stories and develop high-profile running stories that are in line with the essence of our programme and presenter.

If you thrive on the buzz of working on a live network programme where no two days are the same and if you think your ideas and enthusiasm will keep our audience entertained and informed then we'd love to hear from you.

Our people are our greatest asset and, as an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds to work both in front of and behind the cameras.

Closing date for applications: Friday 1st December 2017

ITV is committed to increasing the diversity of its workforce and we strongly encourage applications from candidates from all backgrounds and as a Disability Confident employer we have committed to interview all candidates with a disability whose application meets the minimum criteria for the role.

You should be aware that in April 2018 ITV Studios Daytime will be moving to White City for the next few years, while ITV's site on the South Bank is being redeveloped. Therefore, this role will be based at White City for the duration of the move from April 2018.
