Someone who is passionate about all things video and latest technology and loves getting stuck in, seeing the completion of an edit from the offline to online stage. You'll be working on solo projects as well as into the lead Editor taking your hand to a variety of things; this could range from creating low res proxies, creating timeline assembles, cutting social reels together and editing master edits into adapts right through to making graphics move, rotoscoping clips and or being an extra pair of hands during small shoots capturing BTS footage and creating social snippets. The opportunity will give you a chance to develop within an in-house studio at a busy agency in the heart of West End.The successful candidate will be able to flex their skills and thrive on the challenge of creating content that keeps the viewer glued. We believe in doing things differently and no shoot is ever the same, one week we could be filming TVCs, the next live events and another street casting and capturing a podcast series.Key Areas of ResponsibilityThe duties of this role will change as projects do, but you will be working on solo projects and into the lead editor on larger projects, specific examples of work include:Creating timeline assembles of selectsWorking under creative direction you will be required to edit / create films for a range of tech, fashion and drinks clients, including internal case studies - masters, adapts, cutdowns and size variantsCreating social reels, feed posts and screen content for ongoing social toolkits and social led campaignsFinishing edits by integrating motion graphics and sound designMocking up ideas to bring a pitch to life is often the difference between winning or losing a pitch so this skill is a mustClients:Understand who our clients are across the agency.Know who each project is for and have an awareness of what they're trying to achieve.Know what success looks like for each project.Commercial:Follow all internal financial and reporting processes.Coordinate the team to make sure others follow the correct procedures such as timesheets and financial processes.Monitor your own workload and ensure any required timesheets are completed for yourself.Team:Work collaboratively with others to ensure delivery is at the highest level.Work within agreed processes and procedures and promote consistency in othersProactively consider your own performance and development goals.RequirementsRequired Skills / KnowledgeWe are looking for someone with at least 1+ years' experience in an agency or faced paced in house video team and across different types of projects. They should have:Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, and After Effects, as well as the rest of the CC SuiteExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well with othersBe a proactive problem solverHave the ability to work to tight deadlines, while never sacrificing qualityA solid understanding of the entire online and offline process / stagesA solid understanding of export specs and video safeguarding requirements (safe zones/flashing etc.)A working knowledge of the latest video trends and technologiesHave the ability and eye to maintain a consistent grade across footage, with the skill to make subtle tweaks as neededUnderstanding of 3D softwareA passion for uniformed high-quality output is a mustEveryone at Exposure Should HaveExperience in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environmentA flair for communicationAttention to detail and tenacity in following upGreat stakeholder management skillsA great attitudeStrong cultural interestsOur Values Make Us ExposureWe're different.
