Job Title: Motion Designer

Job Purpose: Responsible for producing creative, digital, animated design across varying digital formats for the Creative Services Department.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

• Producing bespoke graphics to a brief.
• Working with brand, style and project guidelines.
• Creation of logo's, animated in-show branding and motion graphics elements for broadcast, Digital and Web.
• Working with the team to come up with concepts and creative solutions.
• To work closely with the Edit and Production departments, communicating clearly any creative or technical requirements.
• Produce initial designs and present concepts for discussion.
• Exceptional eye for detail and be capable of meeting tight deadlines and high volume.
• The ability to lead on the development of 2D animation projects.
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D and how to composite renders.
• Proficiency within Adobe After Effects.
• 2D character design and animation.
• Experience designing and creating assets in 2D and 3D.
• Excellent illustration capabilities.
• The ability to create storyboards.
• Solid understanding of design and typography.
• To be creative and self-motivated and to work independently.
• Keep up to date with changes in design trends and software.

Key Requirements & Software Knowledge

• Candidates must be a qualified Motion Designer.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years Motion Design work experience within similar positions.
• You will have strong experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Software, focusing on Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
• Proficient in 3D Software including Maya, Cinema 4D, Autodesk 3ds Max (3D Studio & 3D Studio Max)
• Experience of working in a broadcast or post environment would be an advantage but not essential.
• Will have a good portfolio demonstrating a broad range of Motion Design skills and expertise.
