Key Purpose of Job:

We are looking for a highly creative 'Motion Designer'. You must have a passion for all areas of moving image and be driven to create outstanding category defining work for our portfolio of active, fashion and lifestyle brands.

You will have an excellent knowledge of the digital world with a strong understanding of the latest developments in media and digital platforms. Bringing new and innovative moving image ideas to the team is a pre-requisite of this role. You'll bring references of the best talent and the best case studies in the industry.

You enjoy collaborating and have a strong instinct for what works across art direction, typography as well as core moving image capabilities. With your instinctive eye for design detail you will be confident taking ideas from concept to reality. You will be an influential part of the design process and able to steer the production of all assets and deliverables required for motion projects - from initial storyboards and animatics through to show-stopping final films.

You will create everything from mood and brand films, animations, video prototypes and social and in-store content for our brands.

Your work, compelling stories and ideas, beautifully crafted, will live on every type of screen out there - from mobile devices to instore displays and OOH video walls.

You will collaborate closely with other Motion Designers, Art Directors, Designers and Creative Managers to develop creative ideas that capture and engage with our consumers.

With a strong interest in all things moving you are aware of and champion the use of up to date technology and systems which means you are able to ensure fast and effective video delivery.

What you need to have

An outstanding showreel demonstrating creativity and effectiveness.
Relevant industry experience (preferably in the world of active, fashion and lifestyle)
A passion for all associated aspects of moving image i.e. music, art direction and cinematography.
Strong creative skills, from ideation to communication and presentation of your concepts.
Strong typography and graphic design skills.
Ability to unpack written narratives or storyboards and bring them to life using motion.
Experience of taking projects from idea to final delivery.
Excellent grasp of Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D.
Be able to work with assets in Photoshop / Illustrator
Solid knowledge of the technical and production aspects of motion design: delivery mediums (web, mobile UI animation, broadcast, large-scale video wall), codecs, Framerate, Bitrates, aspect ratios (16:9, 5:4 etc) and common resolutions (HD, 4k etc), Adobe Media Encoder for essential outputs
Strong relationships and experience working with external suppliers (videographers, DOP's, VO & Audio artists, 3D specialists, grading specialists, animators etc.
Strong organisational skills, specifically in file management and methodical workflow
Good time management skills with accountability for own workload
Strong written and spoken English skills (other languages are a bonus too)
