Our rapid growth continues to drive us forward making Hogarth an exciting place to work and a great place to achieve your career ambitions.The Role:The Midweight Mechanical Artist is responsible for preparing, building and localising mechanicals for large scale campaigns. You will produce accurate and high-quality print and digital artwork ready to be released to a global audience.On top of possessing strong oral, interpersonal and organizational skills, you must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and adhere to tight deadlines whilst still delivering work to the highest standards.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Using Creative Suite software, you will prepare, build and localize mechanical files ready for releaseLiaise with Project Management and Studio Manager on file preparation and deliveryAct as a brand QC/Guardian - always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklistsand procedures are followedWhile honoring the design, you will be responsible for the iteration and versioning ofhigh quality print and digital artworkManage a high-volume workload, including foreign language versions.QualificationsRequirements:A bachelor's degree in packaging, print technology, graphic arts or at least 6 yearsof equivalent experience providing production support within an in-house creative team,ad agency or interactive studioAdvanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, print reproduction,retouching and digital productionAn exceptional team player who is able to work accurately under pressure and be committedto regularly updating skills through trainingAble to adhere to exact and established graphic production process, which includes maintaining consistency in font usage, colour profiles, filename conventions and structuring of archived assets.Proficiency in OS & iOS softwareAbility to adapt to the company's way of working after trainingGood knowledge of image reproduction; including website builds, POS,Motion Graphics and email marketingResourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitudeAbility to work in a fast paced, demanding creative and production environmentGood awareness of current and emerging technologies with a knowledgeof production automation a benefitAccurate, excellent memory and an eye for detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in written and oral English is requiredMust be able to travel as required, sometimes several weeks at a time.
