Founded in 2014, Econ Films is changing the way economics, finance, business, and public policy are communicated. Through short videos and documentaries, we produce content that shares research findings and insights with a wider audience. Our clients include the United Nations, Oxford University, the London School of Economics, and the UK Treasury, for whom we film across the globe - the UK, the US, Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia, and more. Our films include interviews with well over 30 Nobel Laureates and senior politicians including former UK Chancellor's Alistair Darling and George Osborne as well as former Prime Minister David Cameron. We are now looking for someone to join our dynamic team in London Bridge to help grow the business and sustain our status as the leading production company for institutional films. (More details on our website: www.econfilms.tv)What you will do:-Conduct market and competitor research to identify new clients-Liaise with business development and production teams to discuss, design and agree on concepts and pitches-Develop and pitch productions and assist with winning new business-Research and develop relationships with potential new clients-Develop relationships with new contacts within existing client base-Feed our social media profiles, particularly Twitter and LinkedIn-Produce weekly reports to the MDREQUIREMENTSYou are:-Someone with at least one years' Business Development, Account Management, Research or similar experience in economics & research, financial services, journalism or digital media-A self-starter and doer. We're keen to meet applicants who have a burning desire to develop a career in the media industry - those ready to embrace the challenges and commitments this brings-An amazing communicator. You know how to listen and you know how to deliver the right messages at the right time. This includes high literacy and written skills, good telephone manner, and experience in online communication (particularly LinkedIn and Twitter)-Most importantly, a positive and pro-active person. You'll be working in a highly demanding and ever-changing startup environment.
