We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our busy London Master Control Room. The Feltham based MCR is responsible for obtaining and distributing live sport signals around the business and to our other broadcast teams.

Key content includes English Premier League, Formula 1, NFL, NBA, WTA Tennis, La Liga and Serie A, amongst many more.

The MCR is an exciting, and often busy, 24/7 team that sits at the heart of the Perform business. Following the sporting calendars, the team work to successfully obtain live signals, distribute these to other teams, encoding, recording, commentary and on-pass to other clients.
Our business is constantly adapting to new technologies and the MCR is at the forefront of the change to modern IP technologies and new workflows.
Transmissions work is advantageous, but the ability to work in busy and live, broadcast environments are equally important to the role.
The position will require to work nights, public holidays and weekends on a shift basis.

Connecting switches, configurations and downlinks according to the booked information 25
Managing daily workloads and responsibility with other team members 25
QC of transmissions for video and audio faults 15
Escalation of faults to 3rd party providers and support teams 15
Reporting and documentation of faults 15
Assisting with other MCR operations for signal acquisition and communicating with suppliers 5
