An opportunity to work for the leading horse racing media rights organisation, supporting the Chief Engineer in providing engineering support for the broadcast facility and production teams based at their broadcast facility in Ealing, West London and supplying this content to RMG's Shareholder Racecourses.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring the stability and quality of all incoming and outgoing video/audio/communications circuits.
• Keeping a thorough and accurate log of all faults & problems experienced.
• Studio lighting, camera racking, and (where necessary) remote camera operation.

Tasks:
• Line-up of all circuits with external suppliers & recipients.
• Pro-active monitoring of all transmission feeds.
• Front-line support for any technical problems within the production facility.
• Technical fault-finding, diagnosis, and tracking progress to resolution.
• Vision engineering of the studio cameras & operation of studio lighting.
• Assisting the production teams in any technical aspects of their roles.
• Assisting the Media Manager as required, for example Media Ingest.

Required Skills/Experience
• Good technical fault finding, trouble-shooting, and lateral thinking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a live broadcast environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Good team-working skills.
• Good working knowledge of IT systems and infrastructures.
• Experience of file-based workflows and systems beneficial.

Essential requirements/Qualifications
• Suitable broadcast engineering qualifications and/or experience.
• Experience of broadcast technology systems: MCR, vision engineering, lighting control.
