If so you could be the next Make up Artist to join the growing team.The ASOS hair and make up team play an important role with in the production department. They are a team of fashion focused individuals, from a variety of backgrounds, who work together to fulfil and deliver the creative vision of the style directors. It is their job to ensure that the ASOS models are looking their best at all times!It is a very exciting and busy area to be a part of. They inspire each other to be the best they can be and deliver the highest standard of hair and make up. As a Make up Artist you will work together with your peers to bring to life the ever evolving ASOS Creative. The Role:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Have a full understanding of the ASOS customer and target audienceProduce a high standard of make up that is brand appropriate, references the seasons catwalk trends and street style and appeals to the ASOS 20-something customerBe responsible producing make-up for 2-4 models in the 1 hour allocated time slot for allocated studioEnsuring benchmark shoots are strictly adhered toHave a strong brand awareness and be able to adapt make up accordinglyUnderstand and translate creative changes quickly and with minimal disruption to the shoot processWork with the Hair and Make-up seniors and Shoot Stylists to produce and develop make up with in the studiosKeep abreast of the latest and upcoming make up trends including celebrity styleProduce inspirational moodboards to reference make up ideas in line with trends, brands and season. Communicate these to hair and make up team, freelancers and Shoot Co-ordinatorsAttend creative Hair and Make-up meetings and other wider business meetings/strategy daysUnderstand and implement daily tasks and complete daily management duties in absence of the Hair and Make-up managerBe responsible for updating and maintaining the hair and make-up referencing systemProfessional presence in the hair and make-up department and studiosTo source new and appropriate products that could be incoporated into the asos kitsContribute to problem solving through meetings and one to onesEngage in training and development by attending in and outhouse coursesMaintaining and cleaning equipment and products including stock controlAny Ad Hoc duties to support the development and progression of the Production TeamWe'd love to meet someone with:An ability to translate a brief to a high standard and within a tight deadlineGreat trend research skills and to be able to develop these ideas for the ASOS customerPrevious experience as a Make Up Artist from a fashion backgroundStudio make up experience desirablePrevious e-commerce retail experience would be to an advantage *Please include a link to your porfolio or some examples of work from your portfolio along with your application.
