A Place in the Sun and A Place in the Sun: Home or Away are looking for experienced Producer/Directors for upcoming filming blocks on the popular C4 daytime property shows starting mid April 2019.

The ideal candidates will have experience of scripting, producing and directing 60 min formatted programmes, plus experience of working on property shows would be a bonus but not essential.

You will be directing a 2 person crew and shooting second camera on the opening and closing sequences, so you need to be confident in self-shooting and experienced in managing presenters and contributors.

On a Place in the Sun the role is almost entirely location based, with just the first week of production in the office in Chorleywood. This spring and summer we will be filming in Spain, France, Greece, Cyprus and Italy.

Filming will be in a 6 week block on location so you need to be able to be away from home for up to 6 weeks at a time. In this 6 week period you would produce 3 shows.

On A Place in the Sun: Home or Away the role combines working in the UK and in Spain, France and Portugal. You would be in the office in Chorleywood and on location in the UK and overseas for up to 6 days at a time. Contracts on offer vary from 4 - 12 weeks.

We are also happy to consider applications from experienced DV Directors/Producers who are keen to make the step towards PD'ing.

We have a variety of lengths of contracts available starting mid April, May and June and as we in production all year we are keen to offer repeat contracts throughout the year.

You must hold a full driving licence and be confident driving overseas. Please also state your availability in your covering letter.
