We are now looking for the best and brightest Freelance Live Programming Operators in the business to join us in our state of the art facilities at Chiswick Park in West London. You will be joining a team working across 1250+ Live broadcasts per annum, over 18 channels (with more launches possible) within a department of 25+ people.

Our Live Programming Operators are crucial to the success of our Live Broadcasts. They are responsible for following agreed procedures, meeting client expectations and ensuring that all programming requirements are adhered to during live broadcasts. They do this by communicating really effectively with their team, as well as with other departments; Live Transmission Operations, Ingest, Engineering and Scheduling. They are also required to instruct and execute emergency procedures, fulfil client requirements, liaise with local broadcast production teams and update live schedules as well as report any discrepancies in compliance.

We are looking for flexible people who thrive in a busy live environment. You will need to be a good problem solver who enjoys working under pressure and is able to think quickly and react swiftly to ever-changing requirements. A background in scheduling or live playout is ideal and a working knowledge of Ofcom regulations a must. A level of knowledge of scheduling software (we use What's On) is hugely beneficial. Finally, a love of Sports is essential since this role deals primarily with Live sporting content from all over the world.
