Experienced Production Controller required to oversee production budgets for the scripted production arm of this European SVOD platform.

The COMPANY

Our client is a well established SVOD platform which connects audiences with high-quality content.

The ROLE

Reporting into the Central Finance team, you will be responsible for assessing project pre-greenlight materials, challenging budget line item costs, ensuring accuracy and timelines of the proposed budget and cost schedule.

Key Responsibilities -

Support production plans through analysis of the budget, and review cost reports regularly as the production continues.
Confirm production spend is as per budget and report on production margins.
Create a productive relationship with the production line manager, having weekly calls and attending pre-production meetings.
Apply and maintain the correct paperwork for the project, eg. Loan agreements. Keep up with reporting as required and conduct ad hoc analysis.
Assist Controller on evaluation of commercial terms.
Evaluate costing implications if changes are required to the agreed production budgets.

The CANDIDATE

With extensive experience as a Senior Production Manager, Line Producer or Programme Finance Manager, you will have in-depth experience of production, commissioning, broadcasting, budgeting and commercial terms.
Financially astute, you will be a strong negotiator, and be very familiar with funding models and operational logistics.
It goes without saying that you will have fantastic attention to detail, be an excellent communicator, and thrive in a fast paced work environment.
