Line Producer - Live Television

Right now we are looking for two Line Producers to join our Live Broadcasting team based at our state of the art Media and Commerce Centre in Chiswick Park, West London - it's a fast-paced and diverse role and when we say that two days are never the same, we're not kidding. Reporting to the Manager, Line Producers, as a highly motivated, commercially aware Line Producer, you will be responsible for producing live and non-live shows with a focus on sales, viewership and high quality editorial content. You will also be responsible for engaging our audience through various social media and interactive platforms ensuring a high quality engaging shopping experience which meets the expectations of our audience.

Main role accountabilities

To produce live and non-live shows
To maximise sales, airtime and viewership at all times, in accordance with the current guidelines and policies
To be accountable for ensuring the editorial output of the shows complies with ASA and Ofcom guidelines
To provide real time information to the Presenters and Guests in order to fulfil customer needs
To ensure production standards and values are maintained at all times, in accordance with current guidelines and house style
To deliver engaging shows to ensure our audience enjoys a consistent, high quality customer experience
To promote and support social interaction with our audience
To provide feedback to the business that enables us to become more successful.
In this role you will liaise closely with our Merchandising and Planning teams as well as the Presenters, Guests and the Commerce Platforms teams in order to ensure that each show is in line with the QVC style.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a degree or equivalent relevant experience in Media or Communications.

You will also ideally have extensive production experience from within a live television shopping environment, good business acumen and a broad understanding of how commercial retailers function along with a strong awareness of effective television sales techniques which includes social media platforms

You will be used to working in a fast paced environment and be able to demonstrate ability to work under pressure.

We are looking for a natural born communicator, someone who can motivate, inspire and lead teams confidently.

Up-to-date knowledge of OFCOM regulations ensuring all live broadcasting is fully compliant is essential.

Please note: As part of the Line Producer team this role involves working on a shift rota and at weekends.
