Kavaleer Productions are looking for LEAD 2D ANIMATORS. Leads need to be experienced Flash users with at least 3 years professional series experience for this role. This role is only available to candidates that can work in-house at our studio in Dublin.

Permanent Role with 6 months' probation period for successful candidates, starting March 2019

- The position of Lead Animator requires someone with a thorough working knowledge of Flash and ideally experience in a similar supervisory role on broadcast animation projects.
- The role requires strong animation skills, with the ability to tackle complex scenes, strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Work closely with the animation director to create a high standard of animation for broadcast.
- Must communicate well and be willing to take notes and direction, under tight deadlines.
- Active in flagging potential issues related to animation and proposing solutions.
- Mentor less experienced artists, while providing them with support, guidance and instruction.
- Team management including allocating scenes across the team and maintaining an accurate record of the team's frame count.
- Providing feedback to the team on animation work before review by the animation director.
- Ideally at least 3 years' experience as a lead animator.
- Strong familiarity with Flash/Animate CC.
- Possess skills managing a team, effective communication.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to take feedback and direction.
- Effective time management and ability to work within tight deadlines.
