This position will be part of the digital video department and will work very closely with various editorial teams. This person is responsible for sourcing video around entertainment news of the day, creating informative video explainers and conceiving engaging original features for our audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We're looking for someone with experience of creating and managing video across platforms. Someone with an extensive knowledge of, and passion for entertainment, fashion and culture. You will need to add a new and compelling - highly shareable - dimension to your videos through engaging visuals and carefully crafted text.
• Create high quality editorial videos for Hearst's varied brands and outputs
• Work with a team of video editors to find stories and develop ideas that translate to video well
• Complement news stories with existing video, or creating bespoke assets
• Ability to repackage existing video assets in a variety of dimensions

The Person
• Excellent video editing skills, including Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Familiar with Hearst's brands and their coverage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills along with keen attention to detail
• Ability to handle tight deadline pressures well
• Comprehensive grasp of media law, particularly copyright
