Barcroft Media have an opportunity for a Junior Production Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

As one of the world's leading producers of short-form factual content, you will be responsible for managing the production of content across our award-winning channels.

The role will involve managing staff, budget management, setting up global shoots and managing their schedules, dealing with legal queries, booking post facilities and editors.

You will need experience of working in a fast-paced production environment, ideally around short-form content, able to juggle multiple tasks and shoots, used to working without constant supervision and managing teams, and must be highly organised, with excellent communication and attention to detail.

You must have experience of being a Senior Production Coordinator or Junior PM.

Responsibilities:

- Setting up global shoots, including sourcing crew and camera kit, arranging locations and permits, booking travel and accommodation.
- Creating call sheets and risk assessments, ensuring that all insurance documentation and permissions are taken care of prior to the shoot.
- Manage and update on-going production paperwork such as release forms, call sheets, shooting scripts, master content lists.
- Maintain database of freelance crew, sourcing new talent to work with.
- General admin around video such as managing asset lists, checklists, updating internal systems.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Budgeting in response to new content briefs.
- Improving production processes, and working across the development and implementation of organisational systems and procedures.
