The Junior Production Coordinator is required to work with our team of producers and editors as a key point of contact within the production management team.What we expect from you:* This will be a varied role and projects can range from talent led TV shows, music events and interviews through to graphics packages and branded content.* You'll be working with our Editorial Video and Commercial Video departments, so you'll be great communicator with outstanding, diligent and have great organisational skills.* You will be responsible for planning production schedules and making sure deadlines and logistics are met for shoots and edits.* You'll also be comfortable working with complex budgets and accounting for and coordinating multiple ongoing shootsThe Successful candidate* Excellent computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office including a solid knowledge of excel in particular. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone* Initiative, flexibility, adaptability, common sense and problem-solving skills* Sound administrative and organisational skills* The ability to prioritise and cope with last-minute changes* Have a minimum of one production co-ord credit. Your main Duties will be: * Completing all the relevant Health and Safety Forms for shoots* Booking freelancers for our full range of projects* Assisting in creating and cost tracking budget across the department* Hiring and negotiating with freelancers and supplies * Scheduling freelancers and crew * Updating budgets and cost tracking using excel * Working across live programmes and events * Raising purchase orders and processing invoices* Completing credit card reconciliations and team expenses* Updating shoot calendars* Organising shoots, writing risk assessments and creating call sheets.* Providing administrative support for the video teamsWho you'll be working with:* Reporting to the Video Team's Production Manager and working daily with the production management team.
