Junior Production Coordinator

You will:
Be an absolute team player who is willing to assist with the various tasks of our multi-functional team. You'll be an integral part of our busy and hard-working department; hands on, adaptable to change and clear on confidentiality. You'll be highly organised with first class IT skills, comfortable in pressurised situations and with the ability to communicate at all levels. This is an administrative and organisational role that will offer a fantastic platform in sports production for the right candidate. Important to emphasise that this is not an editorial position.
- Support the Sky Sports' production team to deliver smooth, planned & efficient processes. This will include helping to plan some elements of outside broadcasts and studio shows, collating accreditation requests and booking catering and parking for crew.
- Provide administrative support for the Production Team by raising contracts, processing invoices, expenses and ensuring suppliers and freelancers are paid on time.
- Source and book travel, accommodation & visas for personnel including flights, hotels and ground transportation.
- Assist Production Coordinators with the bookings of facilities, locations and staff for content production.
- When required, provide support on site at content productions, including studios & outside broadcasts.
- Assist in the booking of talent and their travel requirements as requested by Producers and Heads of Sport
You'll have:
- Previous experience working in a content production environment (desirable)
- Outstanding attention to detail & IT proficiency are essential, previous use of bookings systems and Excel are paramount; and a passion for Sport is recommended.
- Enthusiasm & initiative, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently under pressure across different strands, consistently delivering accurate results quickly. You should be able to prioritise to ensure deadlines are met in efficient and proactive ways.
- A desire to work a constantly changing environment, demonstrating an aptitude for being able to drive change & continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills to build strong relationships within your team & across departments.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule. Expected working pattern - 40 hours over 5 days including some weekends, evenings and bank holidays either at Osterley, on site or at home.
