Working as part of the AV division for a fast-paced, creative and dynamic client-facing agency based in central London.
You will finish multiple theatrical, broadcast and social media campaigns. From theatrical trailers and TV spots to broadcast promos, sizzles, creative content and social AV across multiple genres to brief.
Working collaboratively with the Head of Finishing, Producers and Creative Editors you will actively participate in creative ideation meetings and contribute ideas for new projects to target whilst consistently striving to evolve our creative
approach.
Skills required
* Proficiency on AVID Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve.
* Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of organisation.
* Understanding of broadcast and theatrical promotional campaigns.
* Ability to work as part of a team and alone, as required.
* Ability to prioritise own workload in order to meet deadlines.
* 1+ years experience.
Key accountabilities
* Conform and re-build sequences within the Avid to ensure all material is from the correct source, best quality and layered according to the editorial guidelines.
* Finish sales promos and sizzles to the highest standard, ensuring HOF has eyes on any cut before it goes to the producer/client.
* Thoroughly QC and flag any issues with HOF and Producers, as well as respond to QC queries when certain of the answer.
* Backup DaVinci Resolve projects on a weekly basis minimum, with more frequent projects backed up daily.
* Create TXTLS deliverables of all creatives. Ensuring Producers and Senior Project Manager are aware to request from design.
* Ensure all deliverables are archived and broken down accordingly into their own folders.
* Create and supply AAFs when needed for mix as well as watermarking and creating different frame rate variations so the mixer has as much information as possible.
* Ensure clear communications through finishing process with all relevant team members.
* Collaboratively work with Creative Director/Broadcast Director and Producer to interpret and action the client brief.
* Work with Senior Project Manager and producers to ensure the project is moving appropriately through the workflow pipeline - on schedule and to budget.
* Accountable for deadlines and working under time pressure.
* Have an understanding of the budget of your projects so that you can manage your hours effectively.
* Open to sharing ideas, accepting constructive feedback to benefit you and your projects.
