WHAT'S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

The Junior MCR Operator role is primarily responsible for managing the operations of the commentary control room.
The role is key in ensuring that commentary and audio is delivered to the highest standards, for key products including DAZN, WTA and FIBA.
This entry-level role is an ideal for someone with a passion for broadcast and technology, looking for an opportunity to start or develop a career in broadcasting.
The role will also involve assisting the MCR with transmissions duties and offering further development within the broadcast teams.

HERE'S YOUR ROLE BROKEN DOWN (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)

Ensuring Perform commentary levels and mixes are to the highest standard
Coordinating the commentators and completing tests and line-ups
Completing switching and configurations according to the booking information
QC of transmissions for video and audio faults.
Quality control of live audio commentary
Accurate reporting of incidents and issues
Management of IP Audio
Coordination of last minute production changes out of hours
Additional Responsibilities to assist when required
Downlink of satellite broadcasts
QC of transmissions for video and audio faults.
Communication of faults to 3rd party providers.


DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

Completed studies of audio or video technology
Strong Interest in broadcast and/or audio
Experience working in a live pressured environment
