As a Junior manager in the Music & Talent team at Vevo UK you will be responsible for a portion of day to day management of various industry partners (key label partners, managers and distributors). You will secure and review content from Vevo's partners and help develop promotional plans around their video premiers. You'll be keen, eager and willing to attend shows, showcases, networking events, music conferences etc and represent the company, being the eyes and ears to bring back useful insights and information. You will work closely with our production and editorial teams to identify artists for inclusion in our Original Content opportunities and help build promotional strategies for the roll out of this content. This will include day to day campaign/project management of any Vevo original content booking. You'll be expected to have a good, board knowledge of UK record labels, digital distributors and how they're structured and operate day to day. A basic understanding of digital delivery, supply chains and certain clearances is key. You will work to ensure that Vevo is seen as the #1 partner for labels, artists and content providers in the UK. With an ear for trends and an eye for culture you'll contribute to a team who lead decision making around artist choices for Vevo. The role is based in London.As a member of our team, you will:Build a deep knowledge of your content partner accounts; including a first-class knowledge of their artist rosters and marketing plans.Day to day management of content partner accounts and continuously developing relationship with label contacts and their wider teams.Communicate effectively with content partners and internally to ensure timely acquisition of video premieres, release plans and campaign bookings.Manage label relations at Vevo's original content shoots and continually inform the production team about opportunities and updatesUse Vevo's CRM system, maintain accurate and timely information relating to video request.You'll lead the organization and running of the EU weekly music meetings, this includes preparing meeting agenda's and promotional slate data entry for the M&T team.Requirements:2-3 years of experience within the music industryProven relationships within the music industry (Labels, managers, agents)Proven level of creative skill with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, google docs/ sheets and various CRMsPreferred YouTube Analytics Experience - Being able to seek and review dataExceptional communication skills are vital, as is the ability to build strong relations with a wide range of individuals from artist management, label staff or artists themselves.Comfortable working flexible hours. E.g. showcase or gig attendance or long filming daysExperience in any of the following a plus: digital marketing, video promotion, music programming & productionKnowledge of the broad music business landscape; i.e. Key trends, key individuals and editorial/ genre and audience groupsInterested?
