About NextShoot
NextShoot - founded in 2009 - is a corporate video production company based in Kings Cross, London.
We are a small team but with a client list that features big global brands:
Bloomberg, The World Bank, Jaguar Land Rover, Louis Vuitton, Qatar Airways, The National Gallery, IBM, The RSC, The National Gallery.
We produce a wide array of corporate content including videos for homepages, training, educational, case studies, conference & events, aerial and drone videography, timelapse, animation, motion graphics and CGI. We also produce some long form documentaries.

The role
We are looking to hire an ambitious filmmaker to work on an account for a legal client: setting up, filming and editing 15-20 interviews to camera per month (often more than one interview per day in the same location).
There will also be the opportunity to film and edit other projects on an ad hoc basis, and to attend shoots as a camera/ production assistant for other clients on larger productions.
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be:
Confident in setting up shoots and liaising with clients
Presentable and comfortable in working with senior contributors on shoots
Competent at setting up three point lighting interviews and managing two camera shoots and lapel radio mic sound
Able to edit interview content working in Premiere, with After Effects for simple captions & titles
Experience required
Minimum 2 years industry experience in corporate camerawork and editing
Track record of shooting lit interviews
Demonstrable editing skills
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere
Basic knowledge of After Effects
Basic production skills
Adobe Photoshop, InDesign skills considered a bonus
Salary
TBC depending on experience
Contract
Full-time 3 month contract with a view to extend (and possibility of staff position)
