Full time Junior Editor wanted with working knowledge of Adobe Premiere.

Spectrecom Films produces award-winning films, TV commercials, corporate, charity and branded content for some of the world's leading brands and biggest digital agencies. We work with broadcasters, production companies, universities, corporations, and charities, delivering award-winning films, long and short-form video and TV/cinema campaigns.

We are looking for a Junior Editor to join our expanding team based in Kennington, London. Applicants must have a good knowledge of Premiere, and be experienced with data-wrangling, project setup, archiving and editing a variety of source material for both short and long-form projects. You will be working alongside the other Editors in the team, supporting them as well as working on projects independently, reporting to the Production team and Head of Post Production regularly. This position is key to the smooth running of the department and requires a focussed and methodical approach.

Required Skills:

Working knowledge Adobe Premiere (and preferably After Effects).
Demonstrable skills in editing short-form content.
Conforming, project setup, archiving (LTO) experience.
Server capacity monitoring and data wrangling skills.
Well organised and methodical.
The ability to remaining calm and focused under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Project setup, proxy creation, archiving.
Editing of short-form content, working from a paper-edit and brief.
Be responsible and accountable for QC of your projects, with a strong attention to detail and high quality delivery expectations.
Assist and support the Senior Editors and Colourists within the team..
Ensure edit facilities are maintained and operated at the required level.
