Junior Digital Assistant

London

CTVC are looking for a full time Junior Digital Assistant to get involved with all things digital and post-production across all departments - TV, Radio, Education and Digital. While this is an entry level role, a good overall understanding of media and digital technologies, formats, equipment and systems is essential. We are not expecting you to know everything so enthusiasm, a keenness to learn and personal motivation will be your key to success!

You must be highly organised, motivated to work alone or as part of a team and have a "can do" attitude. Previous experience in the media industry would be a benefit. This is a great opportunity to work on creative projects in a variety of fields and expand your experience.

This role will have a dual focus with equal attention needed across the post-production side (managing rushes, hard-drives, clips & gear) and the digital data side (website maintenance, app development & research). As such, a flexible skillset across platforms will be needed - enabling the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. Other responsibilities will include:

Supporting all our digital and technical projects
Updating all company websites ensuring they are always accurate
Managing the long term storage of rushes, past projects, transport drives and MacBooks
Must have good IT knowledge (to do the above!)
Producing clips and taster tapes to promote CTVC output
Thrive on finding solutions to technical challenges
Managing and running the kit room including all equipment requests, purchasing consumables & booking kit in and out
A love of television, radio and online content (especially ours!)

We are offering a competitive salary and 33 days holiday incl. bank holidays (pro rata). Our normal working hours are 09:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday although flexibility will be required.

If you are a facilities runner or tech room geek and looking for your next step up this could be the perfect job opportunity for you. So please apply with a covering letter and your CV as soon as possible
