The Copy Team produce all product page content on ASOS.com, including writing product and brand descriptions. The team itself is made up of writers who have a flair for telling the customer about our amazing products and flagging features that might not be visible in our images and video alone. Working in the Copy Team is fast paced - with around 4000 products shot every week, the team must make sure the copy on these products is ready to go live on-site as soon as possible, that our house style and tone of voice is consistent throughout and that the quality of our work is of the highest standard. As we are based online, it's key that every product comes to life through our descriptions.

What you'll be doing...

Writing product descriptions across womenswear, menswear, gifting and Face + Body, with the aim to deliver set daily targets
Writing to a house style with an informal but technical tone
Researching and making copy notes on samples handed over to be shot
Regulating and checking any relevant size, fit and care information fed from the BAs to maximise customers' ease of selection and shopping on-site
Having a strong sense of commercial, brand and technical awareness, while keeping up to date with current trends
Ensuring our tone of voice is accurate, informative and consistent throughout the site
Ensuring our house style is adhered to throughout the site
Working in conjunction with the rest of the Studios teams to ensure all product launch dates are met
