ITV Entertainment in MediaCityUK are looking to engage the services of a Jib / Camera assistant and Scenic supervisor (combined role) to join our team for a period of 12 months.

Our studio is one of the busiest in the country, producing regular shows like Jeremy Kyle, Judge Rinder, Countdown and University Challenge, and we have a rare opportunity to offer the right person a position with us.

Our Jib assistant / Scenic Supervisor will have extensive knowledge of studio camera equipment and experience working as a camera assistant and a jib assistant from working in a studio environment.

Ideally you will have proven experience of being up to date with new techniques and equipment, experience of supervising crew and coordinating with suppliers and contractors.

The successful candidate will have proven rigging experience and a sound knowledge of rigging equipment used in the studio. A sound knowledge of health and safety and qualified to IOSH level would be advantageous.

You will be able to understand and cooperate with other departments, possess good problem solving skills, offer practical solutions and demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive and long term relationships.
