Sony Pictures Entertainments London office have an exciting 12 month opportunity for a candidate to join their IT support team in the position of UK Territory Services: IT Analyst.If you have previous experience in the film/tv industry providing 2nd/3rd line desktop and IT support to corporate functions as well as off site LOBs such as Production Companies and remote "production sets", this would be the perfect role for you!Your core responsibilities will include:• Reception and initial diagnosis of users' requests concerning applications, desktops, network infrastructure, mobile devices;• Ownership and management of designated tasks;• Office space maintenance (computer, telecommunication and cabling);• Cooperation with International IT teams;• Direct contact with internal Clients;• Creating and updating documents regarding the assigned tickets.Skills & Experience Required:To be considered for this role you will ideally have a degree in Computer Science and will typically have 5+ years experience in a similar IT support role within the film/tv industry.You will also be able to demonstrate the following:• Experience of 2nd/3rd line desktop support• Desktop imaging work• Mobile support using MS Intune• Knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies (Windows/AD/O365/Office/MS Teams);• Basic knowledge of Network infrastructure;• Experience with Digital and AV;• Independence and responsibility;• Initiative to troubleshoot;• Communication skills and ability to work in a team;• Ability to communicate in English at an advanced level.If you feel that you meet the above requirements and are looking for your next opportunity then we would love to hear from you!
