WIRED has an opportunity for an exceptional in-house video producer.

You will be responsible for producing world class videos for WIRED UK's YouTube and social channels.

We are looking for an ambitious, ideas-led candidate who understands storytelling, is highly organised and able to work across tasks to produce video content that meets WIRED's high editorial and creative standards.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Tell compelling stories
* Coordinate video production with external and internal directors, editors and talent, and organise shoots
* Bring existing WIRED stories to life through video as well as offering your own ideas of formats and stories we should make
* Give feedback on video during the editing process
Run a detailed and comprehensive planning schedule and manage end-to-end video production
Ensure visual quality and accuracy of details are paramount throughout
Define, manage and develop projects on schedule and within budget
Manage multiple production jobs at the same time from concept, project planning, directors, casting, and post-production
Team player who can adapt quickly to business needs.

Essential Skills & Requirements

A proven track record and comprehensive knowledge of video production for multiple platforms, with knowledge of production, video formats (experience in video editing is a bonus)
Good contacts with global directors, production and crew
A strategic thinker with a knowledge and understanding of the global digital state of play of video
Highly self-motivated, problem solver and willing to go the extra mile
Excellent project management skills & interpersonal skills. An enthusiastic and personable team player
Understanding of the WIRED brand and what makes a good WIRED story.
