In-House Video Editor

London

We are looking for a Video Editor to join a small in-house post-production facility within the film department of a large advertising agency.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an editor with 2+ years' experience to work with producers, creative and account teams over a variety of projects including TV commercials, cinema and digital content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out editing, motion graphics and grading tasks as requested by producers.
• Manage digital assets and projects on SAN volume including archiving.
• Liaise with producers regarding time management of projects or tasks and technical requirements.
• Guide freelance editors on how workflow and media housekeeping can be arranged.
• Assist producers with client attended and unattended bookings as required.
• Delivery of digital files including TV, VOD, social media and digital.
• Manage movement of digital files and hard drives.
• Work as part of a team and maintain good working inter-departmental relationships and service levels with producers and clients.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Recording voice overs in audio suite.
• Edit suite admin - e.g. inputting freelance editor time sheets and updating production status doc.

KEY SKILLS

• Experience of working in a post-production facility.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere CC, After Effects and Media Encoder.
• Experience of working with Mac OSX.
• Knowledge of tapeless workflows and file encoding.
• Good general IT and problem solving skills.
• MS Office.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator & Audition).
• Knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of Avid.
• Working with both Windows (PC) and OSX (Apple Mac).
• Knowledge of PressStore (archive and back up).

Office hours are 9.30 - 18.00, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work required.
