The role is based in Bauer Media's national radio hq in One Golden Square, a vibrant centre of excellence which is home to great radio brands, passionate individuals and powerful teams working together to create radio and digital content which excites and delights audiences across the UK

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and produce show trails which highlight programmes and drive listener trial
Create branding campaigns to promote Magic's brand and music image
Mix music beds, sound effects and other audio kit parts for programmes to use in features
Produce recording sessions with presenters and voice-overs
Produce both short-term, quick-turnaround promos and more forward-planned, long-term campaigns
Respond to briefs ensure that the station and its marketing partners' strategy and key messages are delivered creatively to entertain the listener, promote our programming/services and fit the Magic brand style.
Be a studio 'Superuser', gaining expert knowledge of the brand's studios and playout systems, able to train other producers or presenters on these systems
When needed act as on-air producer for features such as on-air competitions
Desired Attributes

Proven experience in creating audio branding and trails
Ability to conceive and execute campaigns, pulling together different methods to communicate a message powerfully
Highly skilled user of digital audio multitrack editors (preferably Pro-Tools)
Excellent organisational skills & ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Resourceful - ability to identify opportunities; develop new initiatives and compelling creative solutions for delivering great content
Interpersonal skills - effectively communicating, building rapport and relating to others at all levels. The ability to think on your feet and excite people about the work you and the team are producing
