A fantastic Hire and Technical Manager opportunity at an independent production company based in Bristol. You will take the lead in scheduling and booking all technical elements for film production.

The COMPANY
Our client is an independent production company specialising in non scripted shows.

The ROLE
A Hire and Technical Manager will take the lead in scheduling and booking all technical elements during the production and post production phases.

Key Responsibilities -
• General Management responsibilities including scheduling work load, performance management and hiring new staff.
• Hire and schedule all technical equipment relating to production and post production. This includes offline suites, edit suites, equipment rental, AV and meeting rooms.
• Responsibility of all departmental budget such as financial reporting, delivering quotes, invoicing and working strictly to budget.
• Liaise with suppliers and post production houses to negotiate the best deals in line with the business plan and budget.

The CANDIDATE

You must have demonstrable experience in booking equipment for film production with considerable knowledge of both the production and post-production stages.
You should be a proactive worker with a strict eye for detail. It is essential to be financial minded and have familiarity with managing budgets.
