From the Premier League to La Liga, Serie A, and Bundesliga, to the NFL, NBA and MLB, DAZN is at the heart of the World's major sports. Our revolutionary OTT platform is the only place viewers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and now Canada can watch some of these major leagues and sports.

As a Highlights Supervisor within the English Markets Team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient co-ordination and distribution of assets for the DAZN application - whether it be the planning, producing, editing and distribution of a significant number of Highlights, magazine programming, other features, interviews and newsworthy relevant content to support the Live output on the Platform. The English Markets team will play a significant role in the expansion of DAZN and will need to scale efficiently as the output from this team increases as part of the development and improvement of this ground-breaking OTT service.

You will be working on a global product with the opportunity to shape a new generation of sports fans via a video OTT platform that delivers streaming of sport (live and on demand) to customers around the world.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE? % of role

Organising the planning, resourcing and distribution of highlights and other content from various sources and across all Sports for the Platform and other parts of the business. 40%
Leading a team of editors and editorial assistants to deliver the required VOD content to a high standard in a timely, efficient manner. Liaising with relevant local teams and the Central team to maintain successful delivery. 30%
Troubleshooting any urgent requirements locally and to assist other teams as necessary. 20%
Working alongside the Central Governance team to ensure that the global plans for DAZN are carried out as planned. 10%


DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW? Skill Level (out of 4)

Experience of Sport Production and Broadcasting, and VOD Content 4
Strong editorial skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment 4
Authoritative with good organisational skills and keen eye for detail 4
Experience of leading, motivating and critiquing a team of editors and junior team members 4


DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?

A willingness to quickly understand and ability to work across a large variety of sports, and prepared to work to a flexible schedule driven by the demands of the sporting schedule.
Knowledge and experience of non-linear editing systems such as Avid and Adobe, and export and upload processes - hands-on experience of non-linear editing useful.
Good command of English language and strength to concisely describe key story within content.
