Head of Studio Production/Senior Producer - Urgent requirement

American international media business, they continue to produce cutting-edge kids' animation for the international market, bagging numerous awards along the way. Their much loved TV shows are viewed by millions of children worldwide via linear TV and streaming services. With offices in LA, and a newly opened third facility in the UK implementing a long form 2D animation pipeline, the client is committed to producing the highest-quality, cross-platform animation with strong stories and engaging characters.
The Role
We now requires a talented and experienced Head of Studio Production / Senior Producer to oversee their current and future 2D animation projects.
An excellent people manager and communicator, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing concurrent high profile 2D computer animation TV series. Responsibilities extend to managing the in-house team as well as being responsible for a series schedule and budget.

The studio is among the most technically-advanced in the world, with full animation, picture and audio post-production facilities in-house.
The role is based in Manchester
The Candidate
An accomplished all rounder, the successful candidate must have considerable experience of series producing Kids' 2D Animation , be prepared to show hands on-leadership and mentor the team. The ability to build a budget from scratch is paramount as are interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Areas of responsibilities:
• Creating and managing the schedule and budget for a TV series, ensuring the production is produced on time and within budget.
• Delivering (in collaboration with Finance) appropriate reporting to ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept updated on progress.
• Producing weekly dashboard reports
• Creating new bids and assumptions for potential clients and future productions.
• Key point of contact with TV Networks and responding to notes.
• Overall responsibility for resourcing the production, including managing in-house crew.
• Responsible for supervising and managing in-house crew
Person Specification/Requirements :
• Must have animation series 'Producer' credit
• Excellent understanding of a 2D computer animation pipeline
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Understanding and experience in managing long form animation productions across all departments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
