Nexus Studios is looking for a motivated Head of Production with experience in overseeing productions and managing a production team to join our dynamic and creative studio in London.

This management role is integral to the development and success of our offering, requiring leadership and proactive problem solving to ensure best practice and high quality creative results. We look to produce multiple projects simultaneously across a variety of media and approaches. Working alongside the business development and pitch team, you will be responsible for the management of work in production and the team of producers, production managers and coordinators.

You will work with the senior teams in London, LA and Sydney to ensure productions are in line with our objectives and make the most of our collective expertise and benefits of running a multi-skilled team across three studios.

Requirements
* Extensive experience working at a senior level for a similar type of production company, animation studio or VFX company
* Experience overseeing multiple productions simultaneously in a variety of film disciplines; from 2D, 3D and stop motion animation, through to mixed media and live action
* Familiar with the ins and outs of producing traditional commercials and longer form content for UK and international agencies, as well as producing with brands directly
* Understanding of and interest in interactive and digital including VR, AR and developing real-time production
* Experience of managing large teams of staff and freelancers, with excellent interpersonal skills
* Process driven and detail orientated, and comfortable with production and shot management software
* The role is currently remote in line with government guidelines and will be based in the London office when appropriate
