The Role:THE OUTNET are now seeking an experienced Head of Production to join the Creative team based in our offices in Westfield London, W12.Reporting into the Creative Director the Head of Production will be responsible for the smooth running of the Creative department. This role requires a strong organiser, planner and excellent communicator who will effectively manage the workflow of daily digital content, creative planning and production across all creative projects - including editorial content, brand experiences, marketing and PR initiatives. This is an exciting and varied role that requires a pro-active and capable individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment but can remain calm under pressure. You should have strong leadership skills, be able to enforce and influence deadlines, yet understand when there can be flexibility and command respect from all teams across THE OUTNET and wider YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP Creative teams.. You Will:Manage the creative processes and production teams on a day to day basis, making sure they are working efficiently, to brief, deadlines and budgetOwn the forecasting, annual budget and management of spend for the Creative department. Responsible for approvals of all invoicing, petty cash and expensesLiaise closely with financial planning and the Creative Director to ensure team are working as cost efficiently and strategically as possiblePlan for short and long terms creative requirements Communicate closely with stakeholders to make sure all project elements are agreed and aligned with each areas of the businessFacilitate meetings, ensuring progress is being made, that each title or channel is kept on track, deadlines are achieved by all those involved, and the high quality expectations asked of by the business stakeholders are metIdentify any efficiency and process changes that can be improved in existing workflows to manage or redistribute resource where needed to allow new incentivesCommunicate any late delivery or major issues to stakeholders on behalf of the team, and work to create a resolveReviewing and drive the performance of productionContribute to headcount management / resource planning and support managers with HR issuesWork closely with the Creative Director, Head of Content, Art Director and Style Director on the creative strategy and development of the brandDefine briefs with stakeholders; agree objectives, direction, design specifications, timelines & budgetLiaise with in-house legal team on all usage and agreements and ensure the department is working in accordance with theseDraw up contracts for editorial contributors and agencies and liaise between the hiring manager and legal/HR to ensure these are in line with THE OUTNET and legal guidelinesCarry out regular catch ups and annual reviews for the Production team.Be point of contact with the leading agencies for all creative services including photographers and directors. Work with the Creative team to ensure contacts, expectations and processes are being managed appropriately and fairlyUnderstand image usage and IP issues and work with legal team to ensure creative output remains within agreed parametersEncourage discovery of new artists/talent, agencies, and visual ideas to encourage innovation and evolution within the team's creative departmentLiaise with the content, media, marketing, ecommerce teams and insure any external client requirements are metYou Have:Solid experience as a Head of Production/Senior Manager, Creative Services leadA good understanding of editorial as well as the online retail environmentExcellent numeracy with extensive experience of producing, enforcing and managing budgetsExcellent organisation skills with an ability to manage a changing workload effectively to meet weekly deadlinesA Detail-orientated and focused approachExperience working to tight deadlines, while maintaining a proactive approachA positive and end-goal orientated approachAn authoritative and effective communication style and are a confident trouble-shooter and mediatorA calm and diplomatic nature and are confident working with people at all levelsAbility to prioritise and are adept at multi-tasking to handle several projects simultaneouslyExperience in leading and managing time pressured teamsA team player approach and can develop trusted relationships between internal departmentsProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelA sense of humour and a passion for THE OUTNET customer and brandNet-A-PerksHere are just a few of the amazing perks you will receive as an employee at the YOOX NET-A-PORTER Group:Our famous Staff discountExclusive staff salesSeason ticket loan or cycle to work schemeMatched contribution pensionMulti-purpose insuranceEye-care vouchers
